East Asian and Comparative Literatures
The Joint PhD in East Asian and Comparative Literatures is offered in conjunction with the Program in Comparative Literature. The program combines deep familiarity with the cultural context and historical background of Chinese, Japanese, or Korean literature with the content, theoretical bases, and methodologies of a second literature (Western or non-Western).
