Orientation was a fun way to start the year, and honestly the perfect way to ease into graduate school. It was a great introduction to WashU and the people who make campus feel familiar fast: seeing friendly faces around the department and meeting other new students. Beyond the social side, orientation was also a super helpful walkthrough of the resources on campus, so it felt like we were getting a real map of what’s available and where to go when questions come up. I highly recommend everyone takes full advantage of everything offered during Orientation!
